The brief
Our client approached us to develop a 900sqm site in Gwynneville, situated on low-lying land within a medium-risk flood precinct. Their initial plan was to build a simple detached dual occupancy.
The Solution
Using our planning expertise in the Wollongong City Council, we successfully secured DA approval for a four-unit townhouse development instead. We navigated major site hurdles—including land sloping to the rear and a frontage slightly under council’s 18-metre minimum width requirement—to effectively double our client’s original yield and income potential.
